Policy workshop: Farm to Fork Strategy and organic fruit growing 

IFOAM Organics Europe organises a policy workshop as part of the project BIOFRUITNET.

This policy workshop will be online on Monday 20 March from 2 to 4 PM – (SEE AGENDA HERE).

It will focus on how can the Farm to Fork Strategy support organic fruit growing, and how suitable is the Harmonized-Risk Indicator HRI-1 -chosen in the Sustainable Use of Pesticides Regulation (SUR) proposal- for organic fruit growing?

For the political discussion, we are glad to welcome MEP Sarah Wiener (Greens/EFA, rapporteur on the SUR), Andrew Owen-Griffiths (DG SANTE, Head of Unit Plants & Organics F3), and Martin Dermine (PAN Europe, Director).
